The new RASS 2 system benefits greatly from the improved remote viewing, with faster connection, the multiple camera view can display up to 32 channels on screen at one time. Pan Tilt & Zoom controls are still available online. The main change to the RASS 2 remote viewer is the search function giving the user the benefit of looking through recorded footage from home or away as quickly and easily as being sat in front of the system itself. The viewer appears in the form of an Internet page allowing the viewer to be added to the Favourites folder for quick access, the viewer is easily accessible through Local Area Networks this is perfect for large office buildings when the main system is housed away from offices authorised persons can access the system from their own desks.
