RASS ROAMER

Enquiries: info@rasstechno.co.uk

Long Range Wireless Surveillance Unit

The ROAMER is designed for long-range wireless video surveillance out in the field. Covering distances normal video & power cables would be too expensive to lay or just not practical to do so.

The ROAMER uses a trailer design allowing instant deployment to 'Hot Spots' up to 15KM from the monitoring base or receiver unit. Fully equipped with deep discharge batteries & and fast charging solar cells the unit is designed with temporary life span in mind (anything from 2 to 30 days) until a full recharge is required or the unit has served its purpose in the current location and has been moved to the next.

The trailer uses a hinged telescopic pole attached to the base and two vandal proof storage compartments used for power and peripherals.

The ROAMER uses Wireless Wide Area Networking technology to transmit live video / audio feeds long distances for security surveillance purposes.

The ROAMER can utilize any security camera including Hi-Speed Infrared PTZ cameras. The cameras are transmitted from the unit via a network encoder which turns the camera feed into a network signal that can be transmitted wireless to a receiver unit. The received images can be displayed and recorded to a computers HDD in Real-Time.

Up to 36 ROAMER units can be viewed and recorded on a single computer system, these in turn can be accessed remotely via the Internet using broadband connection.
